# Deployment options

Tessell provides different deployment options for your databases. You can choose your preferred deployment option during the account creation. Each database service managed by Tessell is always hosted in one or more dedicated virtual machines.

There are two deployment options with Tessell. You can deploy your databases in Tessell's cloud account, or you can deploy your database in your cloud account.

**Tessell hosted deployment**

All the database services are hosted in Tessell's account in the cloud of your choice. There are three options available with Tessell hosted deployments:

* **Professional** - This option is ideal for early stage startups, solopreneurs, developers, and students.
* **Business** - This option is ideal for small to medium enterprises. It provides a dedicated control plane with a custom domain name and ability to create multiple networks to segregate databases.
* **Virtual Private Tessell (VPT)** - This option is ideal for large enterprises. It provides a dedicated cloud account for your data infrastructure and provides dedicated servers and instances.

**Your cloud hosted deployment**

All the database services are hosted in your cloud account and Tessell provides a managed service. There is one option available with your cloud hosted deployment:

* **Virtual Private Tessell @ Customer** - This option is ideal for governments and large enterprises with stringent data compliance concerns. With this option you can use your own cloud accounts, networks as well as security policies.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.tessell.com/tessell/getting_started/deployment.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
